In 2023, Linda+Ambra began working together, choosing to define themselves as a “collective” rather than a “duo”: they liked the idea that collective implies two or more people, remaining an open and non-restrictive concept. Also, their perception is that art is always a collective dimension; even if an artist works alone, they will still be supported by many.
The choice fell on this word also because it best represents their approach to the artistic world, as in their projects, other people are often active subjects or an integral part of the work.
